PARENTAL CONTROL GUIDE

Dear Parents,

Greetings!
There are 3 devices commonly used by children nowadays.
1) iPAD or iPhone of Apple
2) Phone or Galaxy Tab of Samsung
3) Laptop
To enable parental control on these devices, kindly follow the procedures as mentioned below.

1.a Locate these settings by tapping Settings > General > Restrictions.
To Enable Restrictions, tap Enable Restrictions and enter a passcode. The passcode will be required to make changes to these settings or to disable restrictions.
In the allowed content, choose the age limit you want to set for the content to be viewed in the respective application.
You can completely hide the application for child and/or restrict the maturity of the content your child can have access to.
1.b Click on Youtube – Settings – Search – SafeSearch filtering – Select the Strict or Moderate depending the age of your child

Phone or Galaxy Tab of Samsung

The account must be a Limited account. If your kid doesn’t have a Limited account, change the account type to Limited using the manage another Account link in the main User Accounts window.
Close the Windows Live Family Safety Filter window if it appears.
Windows Live offers additional protection for your computer.

This guide does not cover all the devices and does not gurantee the complete control of the child’s online activity. Parent has to follow the following general guidelines.
1. It's never too early to foster open and positive communication with children. It's a good idea to talk with them about computers and to stay open to their questions and curiosity.
2. Always sit with your kid’s up to age 10 when they're online. (Or Keep Internet-connected computers in an open area where you can easily supervise your kids' activities).
3. Set clear rules for Internet use.
4. Insist that your children do not share personal information such as their real name, address, phone number, or passwords with people they meet online.
5. If a site encourages kids to submit their names to personalize the web content, help your kids create online nicknames that don't give away personal information.
6. Help protect your children from offensive pop-up windows by using the pop-up blocker that's built in to Internet Explorer.
